Seit April 2016 sind wir mit der kommitment GmbH & Co. KG bei Unternehmen im Einsatz, die  Bedarf im Bereich IT, Architektur und agilem Management haben.

Bei der EPOST war ich von August 2014 bis Januar 2016 als CTO für den Erfolg in der Zukunft der Post verantwortlich. Zuvor habe ich als Leiter der Softwareentwicklung bei Otto mitgeholfen, die eCommerce-Plattform von Otto auf neue Beine zu stellen. Zwischen 2007 und und 2012 habe ich bei XING als VP-Operations und davor als Director Engineering mit daran gearbeitet, das Unternehmen aus der Startup-Phase mit etwa 50 Mitarbeitern zu einer AG mit über 400 Mitarbeitern und über 10 Millionen Kunden zu bringen. Vor 2007 sammelte ich 10 Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich agiler Projektmethoden, als Projektleiter und Manager für zahlreiche Unternehmen der Industrie- und Logistikbranche.

Dinge die mich immer wieder begeistern, sind innovative Techniken, Röhrenradios und sehr schnelle Webseiten. Und es begeistert mich, wenn ich und Menschen in meiner Umgebung lernen, besser zu werden.

I was CTO of the E-Post, the tech/product development subsidiary of the german Post. As manager in a very traditional and durable german company I feel responsible for the successful future and pending change. Agility is thus required. 

From 2012 to 2014 I helped the Otto GmbH als Lead of Software Development building a new eCommerce System from scratch. Inhouse with the best software development team I have experienced so far. 

Between 2007 and 2012 I worked at XING, being responsible for Engineering and Operations. In this time we developed XING  from am 50 people Startup to a 400 employee public corporation with more than 10 million customers.

Before 2007 I collected lots of experience as Project Lead, Developer, ops guy, Product Manager, as IT consultand by Lufthansa and working mostly as consultant for third party companies.

Things that will always fill me with enthusiasm are innovative technologies, tube radios, and very fast websites. And I really get enthralled whenever I and people in my vicinity learn to become better people.
